Please take a moment to reflect upon the amazing gift of salvation God gave us through his son Jesus Christ.
We are all sinners, but God is perfect:
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God
Our sins have separated us from God, but HE has a plan:
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We cannot get to heaven by being good or doing good deeds:
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Jesus, God’s only son, died on the cross to take the punishment for our sin; and after three days rose from the grave and is now at the right hand of God.
John 3:16 For God so love the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into their life by faith.
“Dear God, I believe by faith that Jesus, your Son, died on the cross to be my Savior. I believe he arose from the grave to live as my Lord. I turn from my sin. I ask You, Lord Jesus, to forgive my sin and come into my heart. I trust you as my Savior and receive you as my Lord. Thank you, Jesus for saving me.”
